Kam For Sud
KAM FOR SUD is a Swiss non-governmental organisation created in 1998 in the canton of Tessin. The aim is to encourage solidarity between people and co-operation beyond cultural borders, based on mutual respect, equal rights and friendship. In this sense KAM FOR SUD stands for “co-operation into both directions”.
KAM FOR SUD regards itself as a bridge between Nepal and Switzerland, between the Himalayas and the Alps, between southern Asia and Europe – as a bridge between peoples and cultures who can provide knowledge, goods and values in both directions. The organisation supports the poorest social levels in Nepal and particularly concentrates on children’s education and health.
